melodies of a farewell was part of the weeks of vengeance program at youthful vengeance in toronto. i curated a series of five exhibitions featuring emerging artists from the greater toronto area. as these exhibitions unfolded in the final weeks before i left toronto to begin my master’s in curatorial practice in glasgow,  they became a way to reflect on and acknowledge the community of artists i had become a part of during my time at youthful vengeance. i framed the series as a quiet farewell—an ending and transition at the same time.
